Join us for GUYS AND DOLLS, a crowd pleasing musical featuring iconic songs "Luck Be a Lady Tonight" and "Bushel and a Peck", set in fantastical New York City in 1934. Gambler, Nathan Detroit, tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck; meanwhile, his girlfriend, nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for 14 years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, but Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown. GUYS AND DOLLS takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong.
GUYS AND DOLLS features a talented cast, composed of 14 students between the ages of seven and eighteen. Cast members of GUYS AND DOLLS reside in Wellesley as well as other communities including Needham, Auburn, North Easton, Wilmington, Framingham, West Newton, and Arlington. The production staff includes: Hannah Shihdanian, Director & Choreographer; Eric Anderson Jr, Music Director; Ash Long, Costume Designer, Bec Lowe, Assistant Costume Designer, Samantha Adams; Assistant Director; Ben Rush, Scenic & Lighting Designer; Alexa Brooke Lambert, Prop Master; Gigi Open, Stage Manager.
