Here's Where To Expect Traffic Delays Thursday and Friday

The Wellesley DPW will be paving Forest Street and Wellesley Avenue for two days.

The Wellesley Police Department wants you to be aware of the following road work done by the Department of Public Works that will impact traffic on Forest Street and Wellesley Avenue (Babson College) this week.

Thursday, Sept. 6:

Forest Street between Wellesley Avenue and the Needham line will be paved on from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. One lane of traffic will be maintained to allow northbound traffic on Forest Street from Needham to flow into Wellesley. Traffic using Forest Street to enter Needham will be detoured east onto Wellesley Avenue and then south onto Brookside Road and into Needham. Babson College traffic should use the West Gate - Wellesley Avenue entrance.

Friday September 7th:

Wellesley Avenue between Forest Street and Great Plain Avenue will be paved from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wellesley Avenue will be closed between the Great Plain Avenue traffic circle and Forest Street. Residents of Wellesley Avenue will have limited access based on the area of Wellesley Avenue being paved at that particular moment. Detail officers will assist with access for local residents. All other traffic will be detoured around the area via Seaver and Forest streets.

Babson College traffic should use the main entrance on Forest Street.
