Money Magazine Ranks 2 Wellelsey Colleges Among Best Value In MA

Wellesley College and Babson University were ranked as two of the best schools in Massachusetts when it comes to value.

WELLESLEY, MA — Babson College has been ranked among the top 10 school for the money in Massachusetts by Money Magazine. . Money ranked 727 of the best colleges based on quality of education, affordability and outcomes.

Babson has the seventh best value in Massachusetts and 69th of the 727 ranked by the magazine. Wellesley College placed 11th in state and 90th nationally.

Money pared down its rankings by only including institutions that had at least 500 students, had sufficient, reliable data that could be analyzed, and weren't strapped for cash. The colleges also had graduation rates that were at least the median for its institutional category — public, private or historically black college or university — or had a high "value-added" graduation rate.
