Registration Open For Citizen Police Academy

WELLESLEY—The Wellesley Police Department is offering a Fall Citizen’s Police Academy class which will begin on October 4th and runs through December 6th (no class on November 22nd). The classes run from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. weekly.

Participants get an inside look at operations here at the police department. Each week a different topic will be covered and they will meet various officers from the department. At the end of the program each student has the opportunity to take part in a ride along with an officer as well.

The class size is limited to 25 participants and the department anticipate the class will fill up due to a waiting list for the Spring class.
