Waterstone at Wellesley has new Senior Wellness Director

Horan has been an invaluable part of Waterstone at Wellesley since the facility, located in the suburbs of Boston, first opened twelve years ago. Horan has always brought compassion and connection to her work, working diligently to ensure residents have outstanding experiences. Throughout her time at Waterstone, Horan has also built a dedicated team who praise her exceptional leadership skills. She’s garnered many accolades, including having her fall prevention program recognized as a stellar program by the State of Massachusetts Executive Office of Elderly Affairs. The program was even shared as a best practice and as a benchmark for others to follow.

Horan has 45 years of experience as a registered nurse in acute care and sub-acute care. She has served as a nurse manager for long term care and community health care facilities as well as a resident service director in assisted living facilities. She has extensive experience in quality assurance, risk management, and case management. She holds a nursing degree from the University of Bridgeport.
