Wellesley In the Market for New Town Counsel
The Board of Selectmen discussed a search committee to replace Town Counsel Al Robinson, who is departing next year.

The search for someone to fill the shoes of Town Counsel Al Robinson is just beginning.
At Monday night's Board of Selectmen meeting, Selectman Katherine "Gig" Babson noted that Robinson would be leaving the town's service at the end of June 2014. To try and fill his shoes, the Board will need a search committee.

The search committee would be made up of people like Police Chief Terrence Cunningham, Planning Director Megan Jop, Selectmen Terri Tsigaris and Babson, among others.
This committee will reccomend candidates, and narrow the field of candidates down to two or three possible replacements. Following that the Board will interview these candidates and make the final decision.

By the end of the year, Babson said they hope to have a replacement in mind.
