Two Arrests, One Car. What Are The Odds?
At the intersection of Central Street and Weston Road, at about 5:30 p.m., Officer Cunningham reports seeing a vehicle with a cracked windshield, and the front license plate on the dashboard, not on the vehicle. Both are in violation of Mass. motor vehicle laws, so he pulled the vehicle over.

When speaking with the driver, he noticed that the passenger, later identified as Paris Wilson of Dorchester, age 42, was not wearing a seatbelt. He requested the license and registration of the driver, and identification from Wilson. After querying the passenger's information, police determined he had an outstanding warrant from Chelsea District Court for a motor vehicle violation. He was arrested and charged on that warrant, and later released on personal recognizance.
While booking Wilson, police also learned that the driver, 22-year-old Malden man Gil Diroche had an outstanding warrant for his arrest, from Middlesex Court for a weapons charge. He came into the station before 8 p.m., and was arrested and charged on that warrant. He was held without bail and transported to court.
