WESTBOROUGH, MA—It's important to give blood, and this is an opportunity to give blood in the name of a special community member.
The American Red Cross is sponsoring a blood drive in honor of Westborough High School Senior Corinne Sciarappa on Saturday, Sept. 29, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Congregational Church of Westborough.
Sciarappa continues her courageous fight against rhabdomyosarcoma as she begins her senior year at Westborough High School, according to the announcement. Throughout her treatment, she's gotten more than 150 units of blood and platelets.
