Boroughs Sustainability Event Features Rebates, Recycling

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough will soon host a sustainability and recycling fair where residents can also make a little cash — if you have the right type of appliance.

The July 27 event is being cohosted by the town, Sustainable Westborough, MassSave and National Grid. Attendees will be able to recycle a range of electronics, appliances and textiles, like laptops, microwaves, refrigerators and more. Per-item prices vary.

National Grid will also be giving out $30 rebates to anyone who turns in an old dehumidifier.

The sustainability and recycling fair will take place July 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Westborough Senior Center, 4 Rogers Road. The event is open to any resident of Northborough, Marlborough, Westborough or Southborough.
