Consultants propose shifting at least 100 students toward underused Fales, using multifamily developments and satellite zones, while some parents urge slowing the process to better consider long-term impacts.
   

• Westborough man convicted of murdering his mother in a hotel parking lot (boston.com) — A man from Westborough has been found guilty of murdering his mother after an 11-day trial, with sentencing set for Dec. 22 in Middlesex Superior Court. Prosecutors say he lured her to a Marlborough hotel parking lot in 2023, where she was fatally attacked and struck with a truck. The victim, also a Westborough resident, was pronounced dead at the scene.
   

• Here's how deer hunters can help Cape Cod, Islands residents. 'Tremendous program' (capecodtimes.com) — Westborough gets a direct mention as the mailing address for donations supporting MassWildlife’s ‘Hunters Share the Harvest’ program, which turns donated venison into thousands of meals for food pantries statewide.
