Long Awaited Westborough Restaurant Opens Downtown

The Westborough outpost of the Millbury-based wing spot has been in the works for months.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — There's something new to cluck about in downtown Westborough.

The Coop opened its second location in Westborough on Wednesday offering wings, BBQ, craft beer and an assortment of comfort food. This is the local restaurant's second location after owners Angelo and Angela Tsetsos opened the first The Coop restaurant in Millbury in 2017 along Elm Street.

Angelo Tsetsos confirmed Wednesday that the restaurant will be officially open for business on July 13.

The Westborough Coop is located at 32 West Main St., the former site of a Subway sandwich shop. The Select Board previously granted the restaurant an all-alcohol license in March. Last summer, the state Economic Assistance Coordinating Council approved a $10,000 tax credit for the restaurant in Westborough.

The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. See the full menu here.
