Corridor 9/495 Chamber of Commerce Hosts Local Scavenger Hunt

Participants will be sent on a 2-hour adventure in their cars searching for clues to earn points and compete for prizes.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — The Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber is hosting a Social Distancing Scavenger Hunt on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Participants will be sent on a 2-hour adventure in their cars searching for clues to earn points and compete for prizes. Clues will include local businesses, landmarks and unique attractions in the Chamber’s towns of Northborough, Westborough, Southborough, Shrewsbury and Grafton. This is a fun summer activity to be enjoyed by both adults and children.

"With many summer activities being restricted this year due to COVID-19, the Corridor 9/495 Chamber decided to host a fun, safe, and local community event," said Karen Chapman, President/CEO, Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Teams will take photos of the clues and post them on the Chamber’s Facebook page along with their selfie. Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 highest scoring teams, best team name, and best team costume. After the hunt is over, a boxed lunch will be given to all participants. All teams will be asked to adhere to the state laws and COVID-19 advisories including social distancing and wearing masks whenever necessary.

The Scavenger Hunt is sponsored by the Community Advocate, Elm’s Café & Catering, Karen Amlaw Music, and Wegmans.

Registration Fees are $15.00 per adult and $12.00 for children 12 and under.
