Crash At Burger King Leads To OUI Arrest
Two cars collided at the entrance of Burger King. One man is now facing charges.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—At about 5:56 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, Westborough police and fire responded to a two-car accident near the entrance of the Burger King on Lyman Street. There were no injuries, police said.
The vehicles involved were a 2016 Nissan Sentra, driven by 28-year-old Derek M. Baker of Diana Drive in Marlborough and a 2007 Ford Escape driven by 54-year-old Edward Mahoney of Canfield Drive in Westborough. Police said both cars sustained extensive front-end damage and had to be towed from the scene.
According to investigators, Baker was headed north on Lyman and Mahoney was driving south on Lyman when both attempted to enter the Burger King lot. Mahoney's vehicle struck the front of Baker's. Mahoney was arrested by Officer Dean Paine for DUI alcohol, operating so as to endanger and improper turning. His breathalyzer result was more than three times the legal limit.
