Crossroads Continuum, a non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with autism and related disorders from birth through adulthood, announced today the availability of open seats for their Crossroads Learning Center, a new therapeutic service facility designed to offer expanded educational services for young children ages 3-6 diagnosed with autism.

The openings at the Crossroads Learning Center come as Crossroads Continuum expands its special education services to offer additional options for younger populations of children diagnosed with autism or related disorders, with an emphasis on achieving age-appropriate developmental milestones.

The Crossroads Learning Center launched in early January 2022 and is located on Crossroads School’s campus at 295 Donald Lynch Boulevard in Marlborough, allowing the program to leverage Crossroads’ expertise in autism and applied behavior analysis, and also provide a convenient location for families living in Metro West who need access to these critical special education services. The openings for children ages 3 - 6 show the successful pilot programs ability to meet the needs of this critical population.

“At Crossroads, we are always striving to provide the best quality of life and educational resources for individuals with autism and their families. This new space was designed in a way where children will get the developmental training they need to participate in their communities, while still emphasizing play and fun,” says Dr. Rachel Farber, Director of Community Solutions at Crossroads Continuum.

Students who receive early and intensive services show consistently better communication, social skills, and success in public school settings. This will be a focus for the Crossroads Learning Center.

The development of Crossroads Learning Center is part of a larger push by the organization to expand its services for families in need, at all stages of life. Later in 2022, the organization plans to add adult services with autism and other developmental disabilities.
