Fire Hits Westborough Pallet Manufacturing Facility

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough firefighters responded to a downtown-area pallet manufacturing facility Friday morning for a reported fire.

Firefighters arrived at the Brigham Street 48forty Solutions facility just before 10 a.m.

"Engine 3 reports smoke showing, stretching lines," the department said in a tweet.

48forty Solutions is a major wooden pallet supplier, processing about a million pallets each year in Westborough. The facility, which opened in 2005, is located just east of Baystate Commons.
