Fisher Street Pedestrian Bridge Officially Complete
There was a ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — The ribbon was cut on the new Fisher Street pedestrian bridge in Westborough on Monday morning, according to Rep. Hannah Kane.
The politician shared a post highlighting the ceremony that celebrated the completion of the $2 million project. The bridge, which goes over the MBTA railroad tracks, expands access to multiple trails for pedestrians and cyclists.
Rep. Kane wrote that the project added shared-use paths to Smith Parkway and Fisher Street.

The project began in the summer of 2021 to revamp the structure, which was originally built in 1915, according to MassDOT.
