FBI Plane Searching for Lizzi Marriott

A Federal Bureau of Investigation plane is now being used to search for Westborough resident Lizzi Marriott from the skies, according to the New Hampshire Attorney General's office.

NH Associate Attorney General Jane Young said FBI aircraft will be used this week every other day to provide the Coast Guard and New Hampshire Marine Patrol crews with an aerial component to help locate the body of 29, of Dover, N.H. in his apartment on Oct. 9.

Young said Monday morning a State Police helicopter will be used on the days when the FBI aircraft is not in use and the search area now includes Peirce Island, Portsmouth Harbor and the coastline down to Rye.

Young said NH Marine Patrol officers continue to use sonar equipment and underwater cameras to try and locate Marriott's body. Authorities in Maine and Massachusetts have also been notified to be on the lookout for any signs of Marriott's body in their waters, Young said.

"The NH Marine Patrol knows these waters and the search area is based on where they think we have the best chance of finding her body," Young said.

When asked if she believes authorities will locate Marriott's body 11 days after authorities first began searching around the Peirce Island look out area, Young replied, "We want to find her body."

Mazzaglia, 29, has been charged with second degree murder and is being held without bail at the Strafford County Jail in Dover. He is scheduled to return to Dover District Court for a probable cause hearing on Oct. 29 at 10 a.m.
