ICYMI: 5 Quick Shots With: Jennifer Juliano

Juliano talks about her weirdest habit(s), selling her childhood home and the best invention of all time.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Jennifer Juliano is a lifelong resident of Southborough, until 2014 when she moved to Westborough. She has been a full-time realtor with Keller Williams Realty since it opened in the New England region in 2000. She is the mother of a 25-year old son, affectionately referred to as "ManKid," who also lives with her. A self-proclaimed beach bum/mermaid by spirit according to many, and a travel lover, Juliano has what seems to be her own reality show sometimes. This is according to some, given the adventures and well-intentioned mishaps she occasionally finds herself in. They always always end well, and she is a regular resource for friends and family for travel spots, restaurants, beaches, and of course, places to live.

Last binge-watched: Definitely Olympic gymnastics, men and women's. I'm happy I can still do cartwheels, so I love watching them as much now as I did as a kid. I rarely watch TV anymore, but I was hooked on "Seinfeld," "Friends," and even "24 Jump Street" when it first came out. I didn't care where we were, if it were 6 p.m. on Sunday night, that TV was on Johnny Depp, I mean, "Jump Street."

Weirdest habit: Covering my ears when extremely loud trucks go by and people drag metal chairs and tables along stone patios (oh, like at Starbucks. I mean reallyyyyy, the chairs weigh next to nothing and the tables maybe five pounds!). I have extremely bad eyesight, even corrected, so certain sounds are heightened to me. Or rubbing my face when I'm about to spend a large lump sum of money and if I'm thinking hard about something.

Best invention: iPhones "find friends" feature. Well, it's a mixed blessing on this one for different reasons. I meant to use it for my son, but he's home too much. He really should get out more!

Best place to eat in town: Arturo's

Hardest thing I've ever done: Selling my childhood home and later seeing it torn down and rebuilt. Even though I have been in real estate since 2000 and have sold houses for friends and family, selling the house I grew up in Southborough was very, very hard for me. One day when I was being particularly, well, difficult to my older brothers about it, the oldest one made an observation that even though we all had lived outside of it as adults, I was the only one who had strong ties to it, as I had tried to take care of it at times when family had moved out and still had a connection to It. It was all for the best in the end and added a level of empathy for clients selling homes where before I had sympathy and was able to keep them calm, yet now I truly knew how it felt from a different angle.
