MassDOT I-495, I-90 Rebuild Project: Public Meeting Reviews Designs
Get a look at designs for the new I-495, I-90 interchange and learn about how the project will impact traffic.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — MassDOT on Wednesday will provide local commuters with the latest details on a planned rebuild of the Mass Pike and I-495 interchange.
The Wednesday meeting will review the latest plans for the project and allow members of the public to ask questions. According to MassDOT, the interchange is overloaded, and no longer safe following the removal of Mass Pike tollbooths in 2016, allowing traffic to travel more quickly along the ramps.
According to MassDOT, the reconstruction will "replace the interchange, eliminate the old toll booth area and weaving areas, improve ramp spacing, acceleration, and deceleration lanes, and add an auxiliary lane from I-495 northbound to Route 9.
