New Eatery To Replace Beloved Pizza Place In Westborough

The new restaurant will be at the former home of Tavolino.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — A new restaurant called Brio 33 is set to open in town. The eatery cleared one more hurdle this week. It was officially approved for a liquor license at the Westborough Select Board meeting on Tuesday.

Brio 33 will be located at the former home of Tavolino at 33 East Main St. The beloved pizza spot in Westborough closed its doors back in March.

The restaurant’s general manager, Abigail Winant, and executive chef, Kevin Sanders, worked at Tavolino for many years. They hope that Brio 33 has the same welcoming environment as its predecessor.
