WESTBOROUGH, MA—There's a no scam in town, and police are warning residents to beware.

The scam that is now circulating involves "Verizon," in which the scammers spoof a real support number (800-922-0204) and are claiming there was an account overcharge in an effort to get account info. Verizon is aware of this scam and is working to rectify the issue, said police.
