Samuel Kruse and Scott Erickson scored a goal each as the Westborough High School varsity ice hockey team defeated visiting Auburn, 2-0, at NorthStar Ice Sports on Monday.
Kruse, a junior defenseman, scored unassisted with 4:35 left in the second period.
Erickson, a senior forward, then scored, assisted by Kruse, about 1:30 into the third period.
Junior goalie Jared Ward earned the shutout.
The Rangers (3-0) face Algonquin at 12:10 p.m. Thursday at NorthStar.
