Spectrum HQ Moving From Worcester To Westborough, Beam Raising Planned

The nonprofit is one of the largest substance abuse treatment providers in Massachusetts.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — One of the region's largest substance abuse recovery nonprofits is moving its headquarters from Worcester to Westborough, and will host a ceremonial beam raising this week.

Spectrum Health Systems will move into a new building at 153 Oak St. just east of Route 135. The nonprofit's headquarters are located in an office building in downtown Worcester along Mechanic Street.

On Friday morning, Westborough town officials will join Spectrum CEO Kurt Isaacson and board president Cheryl Gallant for the beam-raising, marking the beginning of construction on the new headquarters.

Founded in the late 1960s, Spectrum has grown to offer recovery programs in more than 20 locations across the state from Framingham to Weymouth to Great Barrington. The nonprofit's corrections division also works with inmates in Massachusetts and Virginia.

The new headquarters will be next door to Spectrum's flagship inpatient treatment center at 154 Oak St.
