Upcoming Overnight Ramp Closures At I-495/I-90 Interchange

WESTBOROUGH, MA — There will be overnight ramp closures at the I-495/I-90 interchange next week, according to MassDOT.

Detours are scheduled nightly from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Nov. 19 through Nov. 21. This is part of an ongoing project on the Hopkinton/Westborough interchange, which is meant to reduce crashes, congestion, traffic and travel time through the area, according to MassDOT.

During overnight closures, the ramp from I-495 northbound to I-90 eastbound and westbound at Exit 58 will be closed.

Traffic will be directed to follow detour signs and continue north on I-495 and use exit 59B (Route 9 West) to reverse direction back to I-495 southbound. Drivers will then use Exit 58 to acccess I-90 eastbound or westbound.

MassDOT said that drivers should expect delays.
