Victim In Fatal House Fire In Westborough Identified By DA
The 86-year-old woman died Monday after a fire broke out in her Belknap Street home.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — The Worcester County District Attorney has identified the woman who died Monday during a house fire in Westborough.
Evelyn McGlory, 86, was found inside her 55 Belknap St. home around 2 p.m. Monday. Firefighters entered the home soon after arriving around 2 p.m. and found McGlory already dead.
McGlory's daughter called 911 to report the fire around 1:45 p.m. after arriving at the home and seeing flames. The fire grew to two alarms, and at least one propane tank near the home exploded during the fight.

A firefighter and a Westborough police officer were suffered minor injuries during the fire.
State fire officials and Westborough investigators were still determining the cause of the fire on Monday, but did not suspect the fire was criminal.
