WASA Events in November and December
Row for WASA, WASA Turkey Shoot, Westborough Ski Swap
The Westborough Athletic and Social Association (WASA) has a busy end of 2023 coming up. Three important community events are planned to help raise funds and have a little fun in the process! All funds raised by WASA are directed to many of the people and organizations in the area that need it most. In addition to the annual scholarships granted to local students, WASA has donated to many youth programs, school activities and community groups. The Nov/Dec WASA events include:
Row for WASA - Join WASA and Prototype Training Systems for a team rowing competition and fundraiser. 4-6 people rowing teams complete in a 23k meter row. Prizes will be awarded for the top fundraising individual and top team. Come on down on Saturday, Nov 4 to watch the competition if you cannot participate. This will be a family-friendly and community event open to all with food trucks, live music, beer, games, bounce house, and more!

2023 WASA Turkey Shoot- The WASA Annual Turkey Shoot will once again be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Saturday, November 18th from 7:00pm -11:30pm.The WASA Turkey Shoot is held annually on the Saturday evening before Thanksgiving. Have you ever spun a wheel and won a turkey? On average 50 turkeys are won throughout the evening, plus there are tons of raffle prizes and fantastic entertainment. Dance the night away with friends and do it all for a great cause! Tickets can be purchased from any Club member, by reaching out to info@westboro.org or can be purchased at the door.
Westborough's 55th annual Ski Swap- The 55th Annual Westborough Ski Swap will be held December 9th at the Hastings Elementary School on East Main Street. Equipment will include new and used downhill skis, boots and clothing, skates and some cross country equipment. Sales will begin at 9AM Saturday, the 9th. Used equipment may ONLY be dropped off Friday evening, December 8th between 7 and 9 PM. Used equipment is sold on a consignment basis. Visit https://www.westboro.org/ski-swap for details.
