1. Westborough Man Found Guilty In Mother's Murder (patch.com) — Westborough residents are learning that local man Daniel Uhlman has been found guilty of murdering his 82-year-old mother after a 2023 attack that began at a Marlborough hotel. Prosecutors say he lured her there, then brutally assaulted her and used a vehicle as a weapon, with sentencing scheduled for December 22.
   

2. Westborough Police Welcomes Newest Officer (patch.com) — Westborough residents have a new face on the police force as Officer Hannah Fernanda Lima begins work and enters field training with the department. Over the next few weeks, she’ll be learning local procedures while getting to know the town and its community members.
   

3. $8.8 million project would bring changes to Route 30 in Westborough (communityadvocate.com) — Westborough is planning an $8.8 million overhaul of the East Main Street (Route 30) corridor, adding a shared-use path, new crosswalks, and a traffic light at Flanders Road. Mostly funded by MassDOT with design paid through Chapter 90 funds, the project targets safer travel for drivers, cyclists, and pedestrians between Hastings Elementary and Thomas Newton Drive through 2030.
   

4. Hunters help the hungry in MassWildlife ‘Share the Harvest' program (wickedlocal.com) — MassWildlife’s Hunters Share the Harvest program, run from its Westborough headquarters, lets licensed hunters donate processed venison that’s turned into tens of thousands of meals for food-insecure families statewide. Residents who don’t hunt can still support the effort by donating online or mailing a check directly to MassWildlife’s Westborough office to help cover processing costs and keep the program growing.
