Westborough 2023 Earth Day Litter Pickup Seeks Volunteers
The town-wide litter pickup will take place April 8 to 15. The Westborough Community Land Trust is organizing the event.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — The Westborough Community Land Trust's annual Earth Day cleanup is back for 2023, and is seeking volunteers this week for the town-wide event.
The WCLT is signing up volunteers for 59 sites across Westborough in need of a cleaning. Fourteen of those sites have been designated as "family friendly" because they are away from high-traffic areas.
The sign-up period will run through April 6, and WCLT will begin drop off bags to participants on April 7. Volunteers can perform litter pickups at any point between April 8 and 15, according to WCLT. Bags full of litter can be left near the pickup site for collection.
