Westborough Average Tax Bill Among Area's Highest

Westborough's average tax bill is among the highest in the area, state figures show.

According to a spreadsheet published by the state Division of Local Services, Westborough is ranked seventh out of 37 towns within a 15-mile radius, in order of most-expensive to least-expensive. Westborough's average tax bill this year was $7,972.

The average tax bill for the 37 towns surrounding Westborough was $5,962.
