Westborough Community Band Kicks Off Summer Series at 4th of July Block Party

From the Westborough Cultural Council:

The Westborough Community Band will begin their summer concert season on July 1. They will play at Westborough's Fourth of July Block party.  The band will play at 6 pm in front of the Forbes Municipal Building. 

Conductor Matthew Lefebvre and band members are practicing many new pieces of  music for the community.  The band practices on Thursday evenings at the high school.  

The summer line up is July 1 at the block party, July 17 at the Bay State Common bandstand and July 31 at the bandstand. On August 14 they will play at Westborough High School auditorium.

All concerts begin at 5:30 p.m and are free. Bring a chair or blanket to the Common bandstand area to enjoy a great evening of music. For information contact Kathy at klcincotta@gmail.com.
