Westborough Connects Announces EG America as 2023 Annual Appeal Match

Annual campaign raises critical funds needed to support community programming and operational expenses

Westborough Connects (westboroughconnects.org) is excited to announce that EG America will partner with the non-profit to match funds raised in its upcoming Annual Appeal during the month of November. For every dollar raised during the campaign up to $10,000, EG America will donate $1 to the organization.

The Annual Appeal campaign is an important piece of the organization’s fundraising efforts. The campaign gives individuals who benefit from Westborough Connects’ initiatives an opportunity to give back and ensure that the work continues. EG America’s match helps extend the
individual donations. “We began working with Westborough Connects earlier this year and are thrilled to be a match sponsor for their Annual Appeal,” said John Carey, President of EG America. “As our organizations share a common goal of engaging and investing in our local communities, we look forward to continue building such a strong partnership.”

Since 2019, Westborough Connects has been offering free community programming on topics that are central to its mission of helping to build a thriving, kind and connected community where everybody belongs. Often in collaboration with others, such as local groups and town departments, Westborough Connects seeks to connect residents to important resources and to each other. In 2023, Westborough Connects has hosted or collaborated on programs with a combined total of more than 1,800 people in attendance. The nonprofit also publishes a monthly e-newsletter and special topic bulletins, which are sent out to its current member list of over 1,800 email subscribers.
