Westborough Greets New School Year With Optimism

WESTBOROUGH, MA — School started in Westborough despite a bus driver shortage.

School Superintendent Amber Bock said, "Opening day in Westborough went really well.

"It was so exciting to have students arriving and to feel the sense of positive excitement to get the year started."

Bus schedules are always hectic for the first week as adjustments are made and routes refined.

"Overall, we were pleased given the anxiety about driver shortages," Bock said. "We love our Westborough drivers and we appreciate how they are coping with the complexities of bussing this fall."

Bock asked that families be patient during the first days of bussing as the district irons out problems.
