Westborough Litter Cleanup a Success Despite Snow!
Westborough Community Land Trust's Event Draws 600 Volunteers
Have you noticed that Westborough is suddenly looking cleaner and more beautiful? It's not just the spring sunshine!
The annual Earth Day Litter Cleanup sponsored by the Westborough Community Land Trust was another success this year! Despite a rainy start and a snowy end to the week-long event, over 600 people volunteered to help clean up our town. This includes 31 large groups and 25 households who helped clean up the town we love!
In addition to the families and individuals who stepped up to help, we would like to thank the following businesses and groups who volunteered: Sika Emseal, Marvell Semiconductor, Corridor 9 Chamber of Commerce HYPE 9 Group, Eastern Dentists Insurance Co., Crossfit Prototype members, CCR Wealth Management, WDA, DoubleTree Hotel, the Westborough Police Department, the Westborough Newcomers Club, Westborough Connects, Westborough Civic Club, Westborough Rotary Club, the Westborough High School National Honors Society, Gurdwara Sahib Sikh Temple, Chapel of the Cross, United Methodist Church, Unitarian Universalist Congregational Society of Westborough, Westborough WASA, Girl Scout troops 665420, 65192, 65133, 65331, and 65264, Venture Crew 100, Boy Scout Troop 382, Cub Scouts from Pack 100, and two local neighborhood groups.

We would also like to thank the Westborough DPW for supplying the yellow cleanup bags, and removing 600 full bags of trash!
Special thanks also to Chris Bakutis at Mugford's Flowers for donating a bouquet of flowers to each family who volunteered.
