Westborough Police Officer Booked For Drunk Driving, Firearm

A Westborough police officer was hit with multiple charges, including operating a vehicle under the influence of liquor.

WESTBOROUGH, MA - William P. Kearney, a Westborough police officer, was arrested on Friday for allegedly drunk driving in Northborough and carrying a loaded, department-issued firearm, according to court documents obtained by Patch.

Kearney was scheduled for an arraignment in Westborough District Court this morning. He was booked on charges of operating under the influence of liquor, carrying a firearm while intoxicated, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation. He is scheduled for a pretrial hearing on March 13.
