Westborough Women's Club to Honor Past Presidents

From Westborough Women's Club: The Westborough High School Chamber Singers will perform for the Westborough Women’s Club when they next meet on Tuesday, December 13 at noon at the First United Methodist Church, 120 West Main Street. The award-winning co-curricular select choral ensemble will perform a wide variety of repertoire. The Chamber Singers has participated in many music festivals, including the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICA) state festival and consistently have been awarded gold medal ratings. Members of this elite group take pride in their community outreach engagements throughout each school year.

This will be a very special meeting at which members will be honoring past presidents of the Women’s Club -Janet Harvey, Joan Ames, Jane Harvey, Joan Pavolis, Alberta Durfee, Joan Ames, Priscilla Federici, Nancy Virzi, Carolyn Black and Judy Wilchynski. Jane Harvey is attending and she was a past President in 1946. A light lunch and a brief business meeting will precede the choral program.

The Westborough Women’s Club supports programs contributing to the betterment of our community. This month members are encouraged to bring donations of new socks and underwear (women, children), travel coffee mugs, small umbrellas, twin sheets, towels, face cloths, and gift cards which will be given to Abby’s House.
