Car Catches Fire At Westford Gas Station
A fire official said the out-of-town driver was on his way to his son's wedding.

WESTFORD, MA — A car parked next to the Mobil gas station on Littleton Road caught fire Friday afternoon. The driver was from Connecticut and was headed to his son's wedding when the car caught fire, according to Westford officials.
Captain David O’Keefe said someone called around 2 p.m. to report the fire and when firefighters arrived they found the car fully engulfed in flames.
Crews were able to put the flames out using about 600 gallons of water in about an hour, O'Keefe estimated.
