• After closing of medical center, Nashoba Valley towns get $5M from state (telegram.com) — Westford Fire Department is set to receive at least $100,000 as part of a $5 million state package shoring up EMS services after Nashoba Valley Medical Center’s closure. The funding, tied to call volume and transport times, will reimburse local EMS costs through mid-2027 and complements earlier state investments and a planned UMass Memorial satellite ER in Groton.
