Ghosts Girls' Lax Advances Past Masconomet

Westford Academy (22-1) breezed past fourth-seeded Masconomet (17-6) on Tuesday by a score of 19-9 on Tuesday, earning a berth in the Division 1 North Sectional finals against North Andover on Thursday, which they will host as the top seed in the tournament.

So far this year, the Ghosts have only lost to Needham, who was eliminated in an upset by Notre Dame Academy on Sunday in the Division 1 South Sectional tournament.

The North and South winners will face off in the Division 1 State Semifinals.
