I am writing to encourage the community to reelect, Andrea Peraner-Sweet, to the Board of Selectmen on Tuesday, April 30. Andrea has been an effective member of the Board of Selectmen during these challenging economic times. She has taken a balanced approach and has made tough decisions considering both the short-term and long-term needs of the community.

As an attorney and dedicated resident who loves Westford, Andrea has been a leader in our community for over twenty years. She has offered her expertise and leadership through service on the Planning Board for thirteen years and as a member of the Board of Selectmen for the past three years. In addition she served for several years on the Permanent School Building Committee during the construction of additions to the Nabnasset School and Westford Academy and was the Chair of the Stony Brook Master Plan Committee which created the aesthetically pleasing multi-use design of this parcel which serves us so well today.

Andrea’s years of experience as a leader in our community have given her a broad perspective on the issues facing Westford, and an understanding of how to get things accomplished as part of a committee.  She is thoughtful, collaborative and respected by those who have worked with her.

Andrea’s commitment to maintaining high standards for our schools is unequivocal. She understands that education is a priority for Westford residents and she is committed to do what she can to help every student thrive.  She is experienced, pragmatic, and knowledgeable.  Please give Andrea your vote on Tuesday, April 30.
