Nashoba Tech Athlete Of The Month: Samantha Valcourt

WESTFORD , MA — Samantha Valcourt of Westford has been selected as a November Athlete of the Month at Nashoba Valley Technical High School.

Samantha, daughter of Tara and the late Alan Valcourt, is a junior cheerleading captain in the fall and winter, and outfielder for the softball in the spring. Samantha is a high-honors student in the Health Assisting program and has been inducted into the National Honor Society.

She is also president of the Class of 2021 and is active in community service through Health Assisting, including as a regular visitor to Bridges, an assisted-living facility in Westford whose residents have Alzheimer’s, dementia or other forms of memory loss.

She has worked at the Outlook Restaurant for nearly two years.

Upon graduation, she plans to remain the health field.

"She is such a strong, beautiful girl inside and out," said Tara in a note to Patch. "She give 110% to everything she does."
