No Negligence Discovered in Oak Hill Crash

The Middlesex County District Attorney's office has indicated that no negligence has been found from either driver in a deadly crash in front of Nabnasset Lake Country Club.

A crash involving a truck and a Westford Police cruiser in front of Nabnasset Lake Country Club that led to the death of an 87-year-old man last summer was not caused by negligence according to an investigation just closed by the Middlesex County District Attorney's office.

"The investigation revealed that the pickup truck pulled out of the intersection of Nabasset Street and Oak Hill Road and hit a police cruiser that was responding to a call," said Stephanie Guyotte, a spokeswoman for District Attorney Marian T. Ryan. "The office has determined that there is no evidence to support negligence on the part of drivers involved."
