Water Main Flushing Begins on Tuesday

The Westford Water Department reports that water main flushing will occur on North Street today until 3 p.m.

Residents may experience discolored water during that time.

If anyone experiences discolored water after 3 p.m., they are advising to run cold water taps for 5 to 10 minutes.

The Water Department is also asking residents to avoid washing clothes in the area during that time, and reassures that the water is safe to drink.
