Westford 2020 Primary Election Results: Voters Choose Biden

Some 40 percent of voters showed up at the polls on Super Tuesday, according to the town clerk's office.

WESTFORD, MA — Some 44 percent of registered voters cast ballots Tuesday in Westford, according to an unofficial city tally, and the most primary votes went to former Vice President Joe Biden.

In Westford, much like the commonwealth, Democratic voters threw their support behind Biden (2,266) followed by Bernie Sanders (1,425) and then Elizabeth Warren (1,310). Michael Bloomberg only got 850 votes.

In the Republican primary President Donald Trump (1,184) resoundingly defeated Bill Weld (155).

Some 7,720 out of 17,383 registered voters cast ballots Tuesday in town - or 44 percent, according to the town clerk's data.
