When's the First Day of School in Westford?

Believe it or not, back-to-school displays are already showing up in Westford stores – and we’re only in the middle of July.

Tuesday, Aug. 27 – Classes begin, grades pre-first through 5

Tuesday, Aug. 27 – Orientation for grades 6 and 9

Tuesday, Aug. 27 to Thursday, Aug. 29 – Kindergarten and preschool orientation

Wednesday, Aug. 28 – First day of school, grades 6-12

September

Monday, Sept. 2 – No school, Labor Day

Tuesday, Sept. 3 – Classes begin for preschool, kindergarten and the kindergarten extended day program

Wednesday, Sept. 11 – Early release, Professional Development

Thursday, Sept. 26 – No school for grades 9-12, teacher conferences

October

Thursday, Oct. 10 – Early release, Professional Development

Monday, Oct. 14 – No school, Columbus Day

November

Monday, Nov. 11 – No school, Veteran’s Day

Monday, Nov. 25 – 2-hour delay for preschool and grades K-5, teacher conferences
