The Bellevue Hill Improvement Association posted photos on its Facebook page, including District 5 City Councilor Rob Consalvo, who came by.

"What a great day! Thank you so much Bellevue Hill residents and park users! We had more than 40 people collect over 30 bags of trash. We had a fantastic turn out," posted the Bellevue Hill Improvement Association on Facebook.

For Sheehan, Boston Shines brought out even more pride in her community.

"Danny often tells me how much he loves living in West Roxbury, and any opportunity to make it even lovelier is fabulous. The community spirit and appreciative comments from the people who walked by really made us smile!"
