Due to the extreme situations currently taking place in the Boston area, the Coffee and Conversation with Candidates events scheduled today and Monday have been cancelled.

US Senate Republican candidate and state Rep. Dan Winslow, R-Northampton, was to appear at the Deutsches Altenheim German Centre today at 2 p.m. to speak and field questions.

Fellow US Senate Republican candidate Gabriel Gomez was scheduled for Monday at 2 p.m.
At present time the events will not be rescheduled without sufficient time before the primary election happening on April 30.

Carol Kelly of the Deutsches Altenheim German Centre added, "We are in awe of our police, military and other public safety officials and officers, our governor, our mayor and our president. There are no words to express how grateful we are how swiftly they are working to bring those who thought they could bring down the City of Boston. We heed their advice and are grateful that we will live for another day to hold more forums."
