Edelweiss Village Hosts Breakfast for Police and Fire Departments
West Roxbury police and fire department officers stopped by Edelweiss Village recently to enjoy a hearty breakfast with residents
To thank the local forces, staff set up a buffet breakfast in the assisted living’s lobby for the event, aptly called Heroes Breakfast.
“This morning some of our local heroes stopped into Edelweiss Village Assisted Living while on shift for a grab-n-go breakfast, explained Jill Hemeon, Director of Community Relations at Edelweiss Village We recognize that first responders are an integral part of keeping our seniors and community safe, so we thank you for all you do. You are our true heroes!”
