Fire Department Work To Free Dog Stuck In West Roxbury Drain

Members of the Boston Fire Department at a West Roxbury worked for two hours to free a dog that got stuck in a drainage pipe.

WEST ROXBURY, MA — A dog got stuck in a drainage pipe in a West Roxbury park Wednesday afternoon.

The Boston Fire Department responded to Millennium Park just after 2 p.m.

The 4-year-old dog Hubert, nicknamed Bubba, according to WCVB, ran into an open drain when he heard a loud noise.

Members of the team worked for two to free the dog before he was released.

The dog was happy and healthy when crews finally got him out around 4 p.m.
