Man Arrested Following Triple Stabbing in West Roxbury

Police say Familia Grocery on Grove Street was robbed at knifepoint Wednesday night. Three people were injured in the incident.

Police say they have arrested one man in connection to Wednesday night’s triple stabbing at Familia Grocery in Boston’s West Roxbury neighborhood.

An attempted robbery at knifepoint left three wounded, including the suspect, an employee and a customer, Boston Police confirmed. Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

“It appears the store was robbed at knifepoint,” Boston Police spokesperson James Kenneally told Patch.

Boston Police got a call at 9:27 p.m. about the robbery. They then apprehended the suspect at the scene, police said.

The armed suspect became engaged in an altercation with the employee when another individual in the store attempted to intervene, according to police. A struggle ensued, resulting in a triple stabbing.

Police did not release the name of the suspect, but they said he will face attempted armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon charges.
