Corey Street Farmer's Market Impresses; Reusable WRMS Bags Appreciated
"We also had a table for the Corey Street Farmer's Market - a partnership between WRMS and Temple Hillel B'Nai Torah and got a lot of great feedback about the new farmer's market coming on June 23rd," said Gruber. "I think the resuable bags we gave away with the WRMS logo, which were stuffed with menus from some of our participating restaurants. were a huge hit!"
Gruber added that planning for the 3rd annual Taste of West Roxbury will begin sooner for the 2014 version. Anyone who wants to volunteer to help out should reach out to director@wrms.org.
He'd also like to see the Taste of West Roxbury grow out of its neighborhood borders. Added Gruber, "Next year, we would like to expand the reach and the profile of the event by bringing more folks from around the city and surrounding communities to see our restaurants. We had folks from as far as Worcester come through, so we'd like to get the word out in lots of the other neighborhoods and make this a destination event."
